Brake failure may cause accident
According to the information, the bus slipped off the road between the capital of Laos, Vientiane and northern Luang Prabang city and fell into the ditch. It is being told that the accident is possibly due to the failure of the bus brake. The bodies of 13 people have been recovered from the bus wreck. It may be further increased.
Chinese military medical team flew to assist
According to the Xinhua News Agency, some people injured in the accident are undergoing treatment at Luang Prabang’s hospital, while others are resting at their hotel. A Chinese military medical team already present in Laos has also flown to Luang Prabang for assistance. Soon the Chinese Embassy officials in Laos will arrive at the accident site and take stock of the situation.
