China believes that the islands on which it claims other countries of the world should also accept it. The South China Sea is being seen as the root cause of future disputes all over the world.

The ongoing dispute over the South China Sea may catch up more in the coming days. Because China has clearly indicated that it is not going to soften its current position in this sea area. At the same time, it has not hesitated to indirectly warn India not to invest in oil and gas blocks in the region under the pretext of Vietnam. Because Vietnam has no valid claim on this area.

The dispute between Vietnam and China in an area of South China Sea has increased for the last two months. This dispute is of importance to India because there are two oil blocks of ONGC, the state-owned oil company of India, in the area where the problem has arisen. These blocks were acquired by the Indian company as part of an open tender process by the Vietnam government, but China claims that the area is now in its share.

Patrolling ship stationed

Two months ago, China has deployed its patrolling ships in the vicinity of this block. Vietnam had informed India about sending petrol ships near the hydrocarbon blocks from China. On Thursday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said about this growing controversy that South China Sea is a global shared heritage.

Ships should have freedom of flight

India has a keen interest in restoring peace and stability in the region. India believes that all countries should have the freedom to fly ships for the movement of cargo ships and commercial activities in the region. Any dispute in this area should be resolved peacefully among all the backgrounds. Also, care should be taken that no power is used.

When a group of journalists from India spoke to the senior officials of China’s foreign ministry about the dispute, they said that the problem is that Vietnam is trying to change the status quo on its own.

Vietnam started inviting tenders for exploration and mining of petroleum products without consulting any other country. China is constantly urging Vietnam not to take such steps. But they are not listening. So many times China has to show strength that this area belongs to her. We have already sent our ships there.

South China Sea dispute

Let it be said that South China Sea is being seen as the root of the future controversy in the whole world. Nearly half of the world’s commercial vessels travel through this area. This is the reason that all the forces of the world remain skeptical about the fact that if increasing Chinese domination can cause problems for them in the coming days.

China believes that this area falls under its maritime boundary. China also believes that the area should be used as it is in the future, but other countries of the world should accept it. There are tensions with many other countries of South Asia including Vietnam, Philippines and China.

The efforts being made by the US to push forward a four-nation alliance with India, Japan and Australia are also being done to protect the interests of South China Sea.
